Horse of the Year

2009 was a very successful year for NRM at Horse of the Year. The trade site looked great and staff were busy all day delivering feed to trucks and floats that competitors had purchased from the site at show special prices.

The annual NRM BBQ went down well with hundreds of sausages and kebabs been eaten by hungry competitors.

Our sponsored riders had a great show with some results to be very proud of.

In the dressage Arena Vanessa Way placed in the following events:

2^nd place in the Grand Prix Freestyle on Winters Realm
1^st place in the Dressage Level 2 Horse of the Year on Awakino
1^st place in the Dressage Level 2 Horse 2.5 on Awakino Banesto
1^st equal in the Dressage Level 2 Horse 2.6 on Awakino Banesto
3^rd in the Dressage level 2 Horse 2.3 on Awakino Banesto
2^nd in the Dressage Level 2 Musical Freestyle on Awakino Banesto

In Eventing Matthew Grayling took over the scoreboards with the following results:

1^st in the CIC** Intermediate class on NRM Parklane Hawk and also
4^th on NRM Cruizintime in the same class
1^st in the 3DE Novice class on NRM Lowenberg

In show jumping Ike Unsworth placed in the following:

1^st in the Horse 1.3m on Wimbledon MVNZ
2^nd in the 6yr Old Horse Of The Year on Wimbledon MVNZ
3^rd in the 6yr Old Horse Of The Year on Whittaker MVNZ
