Rumevite Bloat Block is an effective and economical way to control your bloat problems. Rumevite Bloat Block is a highly palatable molasses based product containing active ingredient Teric PE 64 and vegetable oil which helps protect dairy and beef cattle from bloat. Rumevite Bloat Blocks can be used to complement drenching, or where drenching is not practical.
Bloat is caused by persistent foam in the rumen, inhibited belching of trapped gases. Bloat occurs commonly with cattle grazing clover dominant pastures, especially in Spring and following regrowth on hay or silage paddocks.
Bloat kills only a small proportion of the animals it affects, but subclinical bloat lowers appetite and feed intake, thereby eroding potential milk production or weight gain.
