Biopect is a feed supplement containing a formulation of electrolytes, dextrose, citric acid, ascorbic acid, and specially treated pectin fibres from dried apple, potato and citrus pulp. Feed Biopect to aid in maintaining normal gut health when young animals are exposed to stress such as transportation, dirty or new environments, change in diet, or other situations where animals are likely to contract scours.

Electrolytes include;
- 3.5% sodium chloride
- 3.6% sodium bicarbonate
- 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate
- 1.2% potassium chloride
- 0.2% magnesium chloride

Obtain veterinary advice if the animal is vomiting or in shock, or if diarrhoea persists
Calf dose for up to 3 days prior to exposing to stress with 25g per 2 L milk
For prevention use recommended dose of 25g/2L of water.
In times of stress (ie scouring) double the dose to 50g/2L of water.
