KER Equi-Jewel is a high fat stabilised rice bran supplement that increases the energy density (calories per kilo) of a ration. Equi-Jewel is ideal for putting condition on poor doers, providing additional energy in the diets of performance horses with heavy workloads, enhancing body and coat condition on yearlings for sales preparation and providing a palatable fat source for horses prone to ‘tying-up’. As Equi-Jewel is a rich source of fat it provides a ‘cool’ energy source for ‘fizzy’ horses.
Equi-Jewel contains added calcium to balance the calcium: phosphorous ratio as well as added vitamin E and Selenium.

500g of Equi-Jewel is recommended per day. Degree of supplementation is dependent upon desired weight gain or workload. If horses are given more than one kilo of Equi-Jewel per day, allotment should be given at two feedings.
